What is Smart India Hackathon 2021
Smart India Hackathon is a nationwide initiative to provide students with a platform to solve some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem-solving. The first four editions SIH 2017, SIH 2018, SIH 2019 and SIH 2020 proved to be extremely successful in promoting innovation out-of-the-box thinking in young minds, especially engineering students from across India.
Smart India Hackathon is a unique Open Innovation Model (OIM) to identify new & disruptive technology innovations to solve the challenges faced in our country. SIH 2021 is a non stop product development competition where problem statements are given to the technology students to get innovative solutions.

Smart India Hackathon 2021 is an initiative to provide students a platform to solve some of the pressing problems which we face on our daily life. Smart India Hackathon 2021 College SPOCS Registration
Below is the complete procedure for the College SPOCS to make SIH 2021 Registration:-
- Visit the official website sih.gov.in
- At the homepage, click at the “Login / Register” link present in the main menu or directly click https://www.sih.gov.in/signin to open the Smart India Hackathon Login page:-

- Next click at the “Don’t Have Account? Register Now” link and then in the pop up window select the “College Faculty SPOC” option and then hit at New Users radio box.
- Afterwards the Smart India Hackathon 2021 College SPOC Registration Form will appear as shown below:-

- Here college faculty can enter their details correctly, upload downloaded consent letter and click at the “Register” button to complete the registration process.
Smart India Hackathon Design Mentors Registration
Below is the complete procedure for design mentors to make SIH 2021 registration:-
- Visit the official website sih.gov.in
- At the homepage, click at the “Login / Register” link present in the main menu or directly click https://www.sih.gov.in/signin to open the Smart India Hackathon Login page:-

- Next click at the “Don’t Have Account? Register Now” link and then in the pop up window select the “Design Mentors” option.
- Afterwards the Smart India Hackathon 2021 Design Mentors Registration Form will appear as shown below:-

- Here candidates needs to provide their details and finally, candidates can click at the “Register” button to complete the registration process.
After completing the SIH registration process, candidates can make SIH Login to complete the application process. Moreover, candidates can lodge their Grievance in the SIH grievance form.

The SIH 2021 problem statements can be checked at the official website https://www.sih.gov.in/. At the homepage, candidates needs to scroll over “Discover About SIH” tab, then scroll over SIH 2021 and then click at “Problem Statements” link in the main menu. Apart from getting solutions to problems in cost effective manner, this will provide an opportunity to brand your organisation nationally.

This is the world’s biggest software and hardware hackathon. SIH current edition will offer technology students to compete to creatively solve problems and offer technical solutions.
