WB Manabik Prakalpa Scheme 2021 application form are invited by the West Bengal government. In this Manobik Pension Scheme, govt. will provide Rs. 1,000 as monthly pension to persons with disabilities (PWDs). Manobik scheme was launched in 2018 for disabled persons to benefit around 2 lakh differently abled people.
On the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, CM has announced that handicap persons with more than 40% disability can avail this monthly pension of Rs. 1000. The state govt. has allocated a sum of Rs. 250 crore for the successful implementation of Manabik Prakalpa Scheme.

The International Day of Persons with Disabilities is observed annually by the United Nations since 1992 with an aim to promote the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities in all spheres of society. At this occasion, CM has announced to launch the Manabik Prakalpa Scheme for persons with disabilities (PWDs). STEP 2: The WB Manabik Prakalpa Scheme application form will appear as follows:-
STEP 3: Here people can fill all the necessary details including personal details such as aadhaar number, voter ID no., gender, D.O.B, father name, religion, caste, monthly family income. Even the contact details such as house number, name of village or town or city, GP or ward number, block or municipality name, post office, district, PIN code, state, mobile no., email ID.
STEP 4: Along with the personal and contact details, disability details and bank account details are required to be filled in accurately in the downloaded Manabik Scheme Form. Before submitting the form to the concerned officers, applicants must attach a recent passport size photograph.
The completely filled in Manabik Prakalpa Scheme Application Form along with supporting documents must be submitted to the concerned officer to get approval. After approval, govt. will sanction pension amount to beneficiaries through DBT mode.

- Residential Certificate (Self declaration) (Scanned Copy)
- Disability Certificate from appropriate authority duly self attested (Scanned Copy)
- Scanned Copy of Voter ID (Self attested)
- Scanned Copy of Ration Card (Self attested)
- Income Certificate (Self declaration) (Scanned Copy)
- Scanned Copy of Aadhaar (Self attested)
- Scanned Copy of Bank Pass Book (Self attested)

Method to Apply for Manabik Prakalpa Scheme West Bengal
Manabik pension scheme application form may be obtained free of cost from following offices, apart from the site www.wbcdwdsw.gov.in, namely:
- Office of the Block Development Officer or the Executive Officer of the concerned Panchayat Samity in case the applicant resides in the rural areas under the said Panchayat Samity.
- Office of the Sub-Divisional Officer in case the applicant resides in Municipal/ Notified areas besides the areas of Kolkata Municipal Corporation, and
- Office of the Controller of Vagrancy, West Bengal situated at Purta Bhawan, Bidhan Nagar, Kolkata 700091, in case the applicant resides within the areas under Kolkata Municipal Corporation.
Where to Submit Manabik Pension Scheme Application Form
Application Form for “MANABIK” pension .scheme shall be addressed to:-
(A) the District Magistrate ofthe concerned District and shall be submitted to the Block Development Officer or the Executive Officer of the Panchayat Samity in case of the applicant residing in the rural areas under a Panchayat Samity;
(B) the District Magistrate ofthe concerned District and shall be submitted to the Sub-Divisional Officer in case ofthe applicant residing in Municipal/Notified areas outside the areas of Kolkata Municipal Corporation; and
(C) the Controller of Vagrancy, West Bengal and shall be submitted to the Controller of Vagrancy, West Bengal in case of the applicant residing within the areas under Kolkata Municipal Corporation.

The official statement of the CM of West Bengal is “Today is International Day of Persons with Disabilities. #GoWB launched ‘Manobik’ scheme where differently-abled persons with 40% or more disabilities receive monthly pension.
