Swachha Sahar Odisha Web App – ULBs to Submit Utilisation Certificate Online at urbanodisha.gov.in

Swachha Sahar Odisha web app has been launched by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on 31 August 2020. The Swachh Sahar Odisha web application is started at urbanodisha.gov.in as a part of the 5T mandate to provide citizen centric services. In this article, we will tell you about the app features and how Urban Local Bodies would be benefited from it.

With the help of this Swachha Sahar Odisha web app, the ULBs will be able to submit utilisation certificate through online mode. This would bring in better fiscal management for the urban local bodies. Officials of Housing & Urban Development dept., DUDA, Executive Officer (ULB) & MIS (ULB) can make SWM login.

Along with this Swachh Sahar Odisha web app, a new AMA SAHAR Mobile App has also been launched. This mobile app facilitates citizens to post requests for garbage pickups and raise complaints if they are not happy with solid waste management services.

e-Swachh Sahara Odisha is being implemented by the Department of Housing & Urban Development, Government of Odisha. Now the state govt. of Odisha has launched a new scheme / programme namely Swachha Sahara Odisha. Here is the procedure of how to make login for Swachh Sahara Odisha at the official website.

Make SWM Login at urbanodisha.gov.in to Submit Utilisation Certificate Online

Officials of Housing & Urban Development dept., DUDA, Executive Officer (ULB) & MIS (ULB) can make SWM login. This would facilitate ULBs to submit utilisation certificate online. Below is the complete procedure to make SWM login at the official website:-

  • Firstly visit the official website at http://urbanodisha.gov.in/
  • At the homepage, go to “Schemes / Programmes” section and then click at the “Swachha Sahar Odisha” link as shown here:-

  • Directly click at http://164.100.141.240/SWM/ to open the e-Swachh Sahara Odisha page.
  • Here the Users such as Officials of Housing & Urban Development dept., DUDA, Executive Officer (ULB) & MIS (ULB) can make SWM login at the page as shown below:-

  • Accordingly, officials can select the User Type, enter Username, Password and then click at the “Login” button.

After making successful SWM login, officials of the Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) would be able to submit utilisation certificate online.

Launch of Swachha Sahar Odisha Web App by CM Naveen Patnaik

On 31 August 2020, CM Naveen Patnaik has dedicated 100 functional micro composite centres and 50 functional material recovery facilities in various urban local bodies of Odisha. CM also laid the foundation stone for establishment of 51 faecal sludge treatment plants to ensure larger coverage of this facility across all cities and towns. This has been done to mark the State-level Local Self Government Day. Moreover, CM handed over the operation and maintenance of four septage treatment plants to Mission Shakti groups of Rourkela, Angul, Balasore and Dhenkanal Municipalities.

As a part of 5T mandate, Chief Minister has launched mobile App “AMA SAHAR” and “SWACHHA SAHAR ODISHA” web app to provide citizen centric services. With launch of Swachha Sahar Odisha web app, the ULBs will be able to submit utilisation certificate online which will bring better fiscal management. A handbook on sanitation which is a compendium of important notifications, letters and guidelines issued by the Urban Department was also released by him.

The Chief Minister in his speech through video conference asked all urban local bodies to work in a dedicated manner to meet the growing aspirations of people living in urban areas during the pandemic days. CM appreciated efforts made by the ULBs in the management of solid and liquid waste & making cities cleaner. CM Naveen Patnaik has also commended works of sanitation warriors for their continuous and dedicated efforts during the pandemic.
