CG Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhumihin Krishi Majdur Nyay Yojana 2021
CM Bhupesh Baghel has announced CG Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhumihin Krishi Majdur Nyay Yojana 2021 while replying to the debate on demand proposals for the first supplementary budget of the financial year 2021-22. After the discussion, the supplementary budget of Rs 2,485.59 crore was passed. Chhattisgarh govt. now implements Rajiv Gandhi Bhumihin Nyay Yojana to provide financial assistance to families of landless agricultural workers.
The assistance of Rs. 6000 per annum would be provided from financial year 2021-22 itself. To avail scheme benefits, landless agricultural farmers will have to prove their identity. At the state level, Director Bhu-Abhilekh and at district level, district collector will implement the CG Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhumihin Krishi Majdur Nyay Yojana. The assistance amount would be transferred directly into the bank accounts of head of families of landless agricultural labourers. To avail the scheme benefits, one must make registration at the official website.
Rs. 6000 to Landless Families
CG Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhumihin Krishi Majdur Nyay Yojana will be launched soon. In this scheme, families which does not possess agriculture land and are dependent on agri labour or MGNREGA work (for livelihood) in rural areas will be given assistance of Rs. 6,000 per year. Other sections of rural population such as barbers, dhobis (washermen), blacksmiths, priests will also be covered under the राजीव गाँधी ग्रामीण भूमिहीन कृषि मजदूर न्याय योजना.
On death of head of family, the landless agricultural labourer family will have to fillup a new application form. From the FY 2021, 6000 assistance would be given as grant in 2 installments to head of families. The assistance amount would be transferred into the bank accounts of the CG Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhumihin Krishi Majdur Nyay Yojana beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer mode.

The landless farming labourers families in rural areas of Chhattisgarh would start getting assistance under Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhumihin Krishi Majdur Nyay Yojana. Through this scheme, the CG state govt. will provide Sambal to landless houses by providing an amount of Rs. 6000 per annum. The CG Rajiv Gandhi Bhumihin Nyay Yojana application forms are invited b/w 1 September 2021 to 30 November 2021. Offline / Online applications are also invited. All those families who does not possess agricultural land in their name would only be eligible. Only the landless households of Chhattisgarh state would be eligible. Agricultural Land acquired on Patta and forest land would also be considered as agricultural land.
Fund Allocation for Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhoomihin Krishi Majdoor Nyay Yojana
The CG Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhoomihin Krishi Majdoor Nyay Yojana will be implemented from the ongoing financial year. The state govt. has made a provision of Rs. 200 crore in the supplementary budget for राजीव गाँधी ग्रामीण भूमिहीन कृषि मजदूर न्याय योजना.

Other Announcement by CM Bhupesh Baghel
CM Baghel claimed “The centre had consented to buying 60 lakh metric tons of rice from the state but took only 24 lakh MT, and the state government had to auction the remaining stock at a loss. Despite this, we have been supporting farmers in every situation, even by taking loans”.
CM mentioned that Lack of certain facilities posed a challenge during the first and second wave of COVID-19 but now the government has been making efforts to ensure availability of better medical facilities across the state. In addition to this, provision of Rs. 957 crore has been made for the Health department. During the second wave, the state government not only did a good job of managing the situation but also supplied medical oxygen to other states.
A provision of Rs 39 crore has been made for acquisition of private-run Chandulal Chandrakar Memorial Medical College in Durg district. The state government tabled the Chhattisgarh Chandulal Chandrakar Memorial Medical College, Durg (Acquisition) Bill, 2021, in the assembly. Discussion on the bill is yet to take place. Provision has been also made for the construction of a special jail with the capacity to house 1,500 prisoners at a cost of Rs 126 crore at Nagoi village in Bilaspur district.
