The state government of Madhya Pradesh has introduced the MP Mukhyamantri Kaushal Samvardhan Yojana (MMKSY) at mpskills.gov.in. The aim of CM Skill Development Scheme is to provide free of cost skill training to the youth of the state. MMKSY will raise the skilling quotient of the youth in the state by providing access to short term demand driven training courses in employable trades. Mukhya Mantri Kaushal Samvardhan Yojana is a state government funded scheme under which skill training programs for youths are to be conducted as per the employment oriented national standards.
Mukhya Mantri Kaushal Samvardhan Yojana 2021 in Madhya Pradesh
Through Mukhyamantri Kaushal Samvardhan Yojana (MMKSY), the government will improve the overall standard of living and ensure better quality life of the youth. MMKSY is an integral part of Madhya Pradesh State Skill Development Mission (MPSSDM). The target of the scheme is to provide skill training at least 2.5 lakh youth per year starting from 2017-18 onward. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the scheme through the official website of MP Skill Development Mission at ssdm.mp.gov.in.
MMKSY & Mukhya Mantri Kaushalya Yojana aim at providing the “Skill Set” which is sufficient to allow an individual to be gainfully employed or self-employed. These schemes have been launched with an overall target of 4,50,000 candidates. These schemes also have the provision for skills’ up-gradation and formation, vertical and horizontal mobility and a framework to Recognize Prior Learning (RPL).
MP Mukhyamantri Kaushal Samvardhan Yojana (MMKSY) Online Application / Registration Form
Below is the step by step procedure to apply online for MMKSY through the official website of MP skill development mission at ssdm.mp.gov.in.
STEP 1: The candidates have to visit at the official website at ssdm.mp.gov.in
STEP 2: Now click on “Candidate Self Registration” tab in the header of page as shown here or directly click https://ssdm.mp.gov.in/mpssdegbhome.aspx
STEP 3: Upon clicking the link, a new page to validate candidate at MPSSDEGB Portal will appear as shown below:-
STEP 4: Here applicants can enter mobile number, email ID and then click at “Verify” button. Accordingly, enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number and validate it. Then the Mukhya Mantri Kaushal Samvardhan Yojana (MMKSY) online registration form will appear as shown below:-
STEP 5: Applicants can fill this registration form using aadhar number or Virtual ID, then click on “Submit” button to go to the next step of registration.
STEP 6: The candidates will get a registration Id / User Id and Password. The candidates can now ‘Login‘ by entering his/her User Id and Password and can fill the online application form of Mukhyamantri Kaushal Samvardhan Yojana (MMKSY).
Eligibility Criteria for Mukhyamantri Kaushal Samvardhan Yojana
The candidate will be selected on their performance in each NSQF courses. But some criteria will be required as given below:-
- This scheme is only for the youths of Madhya Pradesh
- 15 साल से अधिक उम्र के महिला या पुरूष.
- एनएसक्यूएफ पाठ्यक्रमों के लिए भारत सरकार द्वारा निर्धारित पाठ्यक्रमों के तहत न्यूनतम शैक्षणिक योग्यता आवश्यक है.
- आधार नंबर होना अनिवार्य है.

Salient Features of Mukhyamantri Kaushal Samvardhan Yojana (MMKSY)
The aim of the scheme is to improve provide skill training to the youth and make them employable. Below are some of the main highlights of the scheme
- This scheme will help in increasing the employment opportunities in the state for youths.
- Moreover, the training in the scheme will be given free of cost to around 2.5 lakh youths (both men and women) per year starting from 2017-18.
- The training period under the scheme will be from 15 days to 9 months (approx. 100 to 1200 hours) for different courses.
- The Youth who have left their study in amidst will get an opportunity to improve their skills and find any suitable job or work.
- All section of society including women, naxalites youths will get an opportunity for the free residential training.
