Salient Features of Delhi Labourers Registration
- All the registered and non-registered construction workers can register for the benefit.
- Aadhaar number is mandatory, therefore all those who wish to apply for benefit must have a Aadhaar card.
- Workers must have to a valid mobile no. for registration as all the details will be intimated through the registered number to the candidates.
- In case of death of the worker, the benefit is given to the nominee.
- In case of death, the children of the worker are provided education benefit free of cost. This benefit is provided only to the two children of the worker.
- All the workers must upload the documents only in the prescribed format.
Delhi Rupees 5000 Scheme Apply Online (Earlier Update on 11 May 2020)

Construction labourers can apply by filling Delhi Rs. 5000 Scheme registration form. In this scheme, the state govt. will provide financial assistance to construction workers in the wake of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic outbreak.
This good news for providing financial aid to construction labourers under Delhi Rupees 5000 Scheme comes on 11 May 2020. The decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of the Construction Workers Welfare Board, chaired by Labour Minister Gopal Rai. The start date of registration of construction workers is 15 May 2020 and all the construction workers must submit the application form before last date to apply online.
As per the initial updates, there are around 40,000 construction workers registered with the board in the national capital. All such workers will get Rs. 5,000 as assistance in Delhi region.
Delhi Construction Workers Rs. 5000 Scheme Application Form
Just like other financial assistance schemes, the state govt. of Delhi will deposit Rs. 5,000 into bank accounts of registered construction workers. For this purpose, all the construction labourers must be registered, new workers can apply firstly for construction workers, fill Delhi Rupees 5000 Scheme online application form to register themselves for the scheme. The apply online forms for Delhi Rs. 5,000 Scheme may be invited at the official website of the state govt. i.e delhi.gov.in or at a new dedicated portal.
All those construction workers who will make registration for this scheme would be eligible for Rs. 5,000 assistance. Last month, the state govt. had also deposited Rs. 5,000 into bank accounts of registered construction workers. This month also the Delhi government has decided to again deposit Rs. 5000 through DBT mode to provide help to workers.

Around 40,000 registered construction workers would get second round of financial relief of Rs. 5,000 by the Delhi government. Moreover, the online registration process of construction workers with labour department will start from 15 May 2020.
