Punjab government invites Bhai Ghanhya Sehat Sewa Scheme (BGSSS) online application form 2021 at bgssstrust.com. Bhai Ghanaiya Sehat Sewa Yojana is a self contributory social health insurance scheme running successfully since 2006. This scheme provide cashless health insurance coverage of Rs. 2 lakh per family per year in empanelled hospitals of Punjab & Chandigarh. People can now check the BGSSS apply online form filling process, card status, hospital list and contact number.
Bhai Ghanhya Sehat Sewa Yojana will benefit members of cooperative societies like farmer families, cooperative bank account holders and employees of departments in Punjab. To mark the official launch of the BGSSS, Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has distributed health cards to 11 beneficiaries.
The state govt. has tied up with New India Assurance Company Ltd. and MD India Health Insurance TPA Limited for implementation of BGSSS. As this is a continuously running scheme, more than 3 lakh people have already availed the benefits of this scheme.

Here candidates can enter their “Request ID” and click at the ‘Search’ option to check their BGSSS card status online. In this scheme, the premium for head of the family is Rs. 2714 (inclusive of GST) and premium for dependents is Rs. 679 (inclusive of GST). Each insured family member can avail cashless health treatment upto Rs. 2 lakh.

In this scheme, all the people can avail cashless treatment at all empanelled non-govt. hospitals while cost of treatment at govt. hospitals is reimbursed. Moreover, govt. provides Rs. 2100 on birth of girl child. All the new born babies gets free health insurance facility (without any premium) upto 6 months. Moreover, all the beneficiaries can now avail e-cards for this scheme.

The scheme would benefit members of cooperative societies, working and retired employees of cooperation department, their dependents and account holders of state cooperative banks.
