राजस्थान मुख्यमंत्री चिरंजीवी योजना: Rajasthan government is going to invite Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Yojana 2021 online registration / application form. People would be able to apply online for CM Chiranjeevi Universal Health Scheme. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on 18 March announced that his government’s much anticipated Universal Health Scheme (UHS) will be launched on 1 May this year.
Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Yojana 2021 Apply Online
In his reply to the budget debate in the Assembly, Gehlot said that it will be named Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Yojana. In his budget speech on 24 February 2021, CM Gehlot had announced UHS with Rs. 3,500 crore in the upcoming financial year. In this scheme, the state govt. will provide cashless health services upto Rs. 5 lakh to all families in the state. Chief Minister said that CM Chiranjeevi Universal Health Scheme registration for those not included in the National Food Security Act (NFSA) / Socio Economic Caste Census (SECC) beneficiary list will begin from 1 April 2021.

As per the announcement, the Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Yojana application / registration form would start from 1 April 2021. The apply online process is still not known. It is expected that those people whose name is already present in the NFSA / SECC Beneficiary List are already included in this CM Chiranjeevi Universal Health scheme. Such people need not make registration. However, those people whose name is not present in the NFSA / SECC 2011 database will have to make registration.
The Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Yojana application / registration form may be invited through offline or online mode, it is still not known. The state govt. of Rajasthan may invite the राजस्थान मुख्यमंत्री चिरंजीवी योजना online application forms through the official website www.rajasthan.gov.in or a new dedicated portal. As soon as the Rajasthan CM Chiranjeevi Universal Health Scheme apply online process begins, we will update it here.
CM Chiranjeevi Universal Health Scheme in Rajasthan Budget
The Rajasthan legislative assembly passed the state budget by a voice vote on 18 March 2021 with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot announcing to implement CM Chiranjeevi Yojna from May 1 in the state under which every family in the state will get medical insurance benefit of up to Rs 5 lakh. Gehlot announced renaming of Universal Health Coverage Scheme worth Rs. 3,500 crore as CM Chiranjeevi Yojna and said registrations will start from April 1.

Gehlot said “So far, we have given appointments in 97,000 jobs, while exams have been held/results declared for about 17,000 jobs and they will be given appointments soon. For another 37,000 posts, the advertisements have been issued and the exams will be conducted soon. For another 23,000, the process to issue advertisements is underway. This way, we are in the process of providing over 1.7 lakh jobs in just 2-2.25 years, and despite coronavirus,” the CM said.
In another important announcement, Gehlot increased the MLA Local Area Development (MLA LAD) fund from Rs 2.25 crore to Rs. 5 crore annually, following demand by both Congress and Opposition MLAs. The announcement was welcomed by MLAs across party lines by tapping their tables. The CM, however, did not state when will this be implemented.
Among other announcements, the CM announced a Back-to-Work scheme where 15,000 women will be covered in the next three years. Under the scheme, efforts will be made via the private sector to provide work from home job opportunities to trained women professionals and working women who left work to take care of family after marriage.
