AP YSR Kapu Nestham Scheme 2021
AP YSR Kapu Nestham Scheme Phase 2 was launched on 24 June 2020 by Andhra Pradesh government to benefit women. On 7 November 2020, the state govt. had credited Rs. 143 crore to bank accounts of 95,245 beneficiaries under Kapu Nestam second phase. AP YSR Kapu Nestham Application Form PDF format was available to download at navasakam.ap.gov.in for those who were not covered in first phase. All the eligible women who wish to avail benefits had participated in YSR Navasakam Survey to get card have now received assistance. YSR Kapu Nestham Scheme List of beneficiaries was released soon after the Navasakam survey gets over.
Under AP YSR Kapu Nestam Scheme, each women b/w age of 45 to 60 years and belonging to Kapu, Balija, Telaga, Ontari communities had got assistance. Andhra Pradesh govt. has provide financial aid of Rs. 15,000 which is to continue for the next 5 years (total Rs. 75,000) to each women beneficiary to improve their life.
All those beneficiary women who had downloaded AP YSR Kapu Nestham Apply Online Form 2021 in PDF format from the official website and submitted completely filled application form have got assistance. CM Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy said that in the 1st year, 2.36 lakh women were benefited for which AP state government had allocated Rs. 354 crore. AP YSR Kapu Nestam Scheme Features & Benefits
The objective of the scheme is to financially empower Kapu women above 45 years of age by enhancing their livelihood opportunities and living standards with financial assistance of Rs. 75,000/-at the rate of Rs.15,000/- per annum.
- Women belonging to Kapu community and aged between 45 to 60 years are eligible.
- Total family income should be less than Rs. 10,000 per month in rural areas and Rs. 12,000/- per month in urban areas.
- Total land holding of the family should be less than 3 acres of wet land or 10 acres of dry land or 10 acres of both wet and dry land together.
- No family member should be Government employee or pensioner.
- Family should not own 4 wheeler (Taxi, Auto, Tractors Exempted).
- No family member should pay income tax.
- In urban areas family who owns no property or less than 750 sft built up area.
The cabinet approved implementation of YSR Kapu Nestham scheme with an allocation of Rs 1,101 crore and Rs 900 crore every year thereafter.

AP YSR Kapu Nestham Scheme Phase 2 Beneficiary List
AP govt. on 7 Nov 2020 had credited Rs. 143 crore to 95,245 beneficiaries bank accounts under the second phase of the Kapu Nestham. In the AP YSR Kapu Nestham Scheme Phase 2 List, there were beneficiaries who were not covered in first phase list. Andhra Pradesh govt. is committed to the welfare of Kapus. All the eligible women from Kapu, Balija, Ontari and Telaga communities who were not included in the scheme in June are now receiving Rs 15,000 as financial assistance under Jagananna Kapu Nestham.
As the scheme was launched in June 2020, CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy gave an opportunity to those who were left out to apply within month duration. Now all such eligible women gets financial assistance. In total, around 3,30,605 women were benefited through Kapu Nestham scheme and Rs. 495.87 crore has been credited into their accounts.
How to Check Payment Status of YSR Kapu Nestham Scheme 2021
YSR Kapu Nestham Scheme payment status is now available at village and ward secretariat. Those women’s who don’t know their secretariat have to follow these steps to know:-
- Go to the official website of Navasakam
- Choose “Know Your Secretariat” option from the menu bar
- Search district name
- Click the link given in the (Urban or Rural) column opposite to district name
- Search your Mandal name
- Hit the link given in the opposite column
- Secretariat code will display on the screen
YSR Kapu Nestham Assistance Amount
AP govt. urges the women to use the money received as YSR Kapu Nestham Assistance Amount for economic empowerment. More than Rs. 5,542 crore was spent on Kapu welfare through Kapu Corporation in the last 16 months which is way more than the actual amount promised by the CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy during the elections.
Chief Minister Jagan has fulfilled almost 90% of the poll promises in just 16 months of forming the government in Andhra Pradesh. During the Praja Sankalpa Yatra, Jagan witnessed the plight of the poor and now he is bringing solutions to solve their problems. CM Jagan has gone beyond the manifesto to benefit the Kapu community.
