[Phase 2] AP Jagananna Chedodu Scheme 2021 – Rs. 10,000 to Nayee Brahmins, Tailors & Rajakas

Andhra Pradesh government has launched AP Jagananna Chedodu Scheme Phase 2 on 10 November 2020. Under this YSR Chedhodu scheme, the state govt. is providing financial assistance to Nayee Brahmins (Hair Dressing), Rangrej (Tailors) and Rajaka (Laundry). The AP govt. led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had launched AP Jagan Anna Chedodu Scheme Phase 1 on 10 June 2020 and now second phase has been launched. This assistance will enable the beneficiaries to lead a life of dignity and honour.

The AP Jagananna Chedodu Scheme will raise the living standards of the Nayi Brahmins, tailors and rajakas. The 3 category beneficiaries constitute about 16% of the total Andhra Pradesh population. CM Jagan Anna Chedodu Scheme will provide assistance to such a huge section of the society and govt. will also work for their upliftment.

Accordingly, the assistance provided to these occupational groups will boost the economy of the state. The purchasing power of these 3 category people who performs their traditional activities would get increased.

The major objective of AP Jagananna Chedodu Scheme is to ensure a high quality of life for Nayi Brahmins, Rajakas and Tailors. This is the first of its initiative in the entire Indian nation. Hon’ble CM YS Jagan launched the Jagananna Chedhodu scheme; providing financial assistance of Rs. 10,000/- each to eligible beneficiaries from the Rajakas, Tailors & Nayee Brahmins community. An amount of 247.04 Cr was disbursed on 10 June 2020, benefiting 2,47,040 people.

Now AP Jagananna Chedodu Scheme phase 2 amount has been credited into bank accounts of 51,390 beneficiaries. The Andhra Pradesh government has selected the beneficiaries without any recommendations.

YSRCP govt. has promised this scheme before the assembly elections and after coming to power, CM Jagan is fulfilling its promise. Social Welfare department has issued a notification for the implementation of AP Jagananna Chedodu Scheme.

How to Apply Online for AP Jagananna Chedhodu Scheme

Just like other financial assistance scheme, the state govt. of Andhra Pradesh may invite AP Jagananna Chedhodu Scheme online registration form. The YSR Chedodu Scheme application form may be invited through a new dedicated portal or at the official website of AP government at www.ap.gov.in. The official notification about apply online process is not out yet. As soon as the online application process begins, we will update it here.
