UP Kaushal Satrang Scheme | Yuva Hub Yojana | CM Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (CMAPS) 2020-2021

Uttar Pradesh government has approved 3 new schemes namely Kaushal Satrang Scheme, Yuva Hub Yojana and Chief Minister Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (CMAPS) 2020-2021. All of these schemes are focused on providing skill training, stipend as well as assurance of job placement. The main objective of these schemes is to generate employment opportunities and promote skill development for youths. This scheme would enable youths to get jobs to sustain their livelihood.

Along with the 3 schemes to tackle the menace of unemployment, UP govt. has also announced to depute Arogya Mitras at all primary health centres. These Arogya Mitras will inform people about various govt. health schemes. While UP Kaushal Satrang Scheme primarily focuses on skill development, Yuva Udyamita Vikas Abhiyan (Yuva Hub Yojana) will facilitate startups to create jobs. Moreover, CMAPS scheme will provide stipend along with training to youths.

Uttar Pradesh Kaushal Satrang Scheme 2020-2021

UP Kuashal Satrang Yojana 2020-2021 is a skill development scheme to provide special training to 2.37 Lakh people. Kaushal Satrang will have 7 components which will provide job opportunities to the youth. In this UP Kaushal Satrang Scheme, each district will organize Mega job fair at district sewayojan office. Satrang yojana (Rainbow scheme) will not only make bright future of any person who join training course but also they effectively build their skill in training college where government granted satrang scheme in UP.

In every district of UP, new skill development centres would be setup so that village youth don’t migrate to city areas. Chief of skill development mission will also look up youth possibility to search jobs in their own districts. While launching Kaushal Satrang Scheme, Yuva Hub Yojana & CMAPS, CM Yogi Adityanath claimed that UP industrial sector had received private and public sector investment of nearly Rs. 3 trillion during the last 3 years. All these schemes are dedicated to generate employment & self employment opportunities for youth.

UP Yuva Hub Yojana 2020-2021

Uttar Pradesh govt. has also launched Yuva Udyamita Vikas Abhiyan or YUVA Hub Yojana 2020-2021. In the Yuva Hub Scheme, govt. will set up Yuva Hubs in each districts of the state to make youths self dependent. The jobless youths would be able to get suitable jobs as per their qualification. UP Yuva Hub Yojana will provide employment to lakhs of trained youths in the state. One Yuva Hub would be setup in each district of the state.

An amount of Rs. 50 crore is proposed to setup YUVA Hub in every district and target has been fixed to train 2 lakh youths in various training programmes of UP Skill Development Mission. Last month, the Yuva Hub Scheme was allocated Rs. 1,200 crore in the UP budget 2020-2021. It aims at providing employment to thousands of skilled youth by assisting in project concept and financial help for one year of operation. CM Yuva Hub Yojana 2020-2021 will also facilitate setting up of 30,000 startups in state.

UP CM Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (CMAPS)

UP state govt. has set a provision of Rs. 100 crore for CM Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (CMAPS). This UP Govt. Internship Scheme will impart on-job training to youths of state. In this scheme, jobless people will not only get training but will also get Rs. 2500 per month as stipend.

Out of the total amount of stipend, central govt. will bear Rs. 1500, state govt. will bear Rs. 1,000 and the remaining amount is to be borne by the concerned industry. All the unemployed candidates will get this training in MSME units and govt. will link them with employment of definite period.
