LPG Gas Cylinder New Prices January 2021 have been released by the central government. The prices for 14.2 Kg non subsidized cylinders have been raised by Rs. 50 & rates of 19 Kg non-subsidy cylinders have been increased by Rs. 53 to Rs. 58.50. The decision of raising 14.2 Kg prices along with 19 Kg cylinder comes in the background of Coronavirus (COVID-19) unlock 8th phase. People can now check the LPG Gas Cylinder New Prices (14.2 kg / 19 Kg cylinder rates) in top metro cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai & in other cities. These new LPG cylinder rates would remain applicable for the entire month of January 2021 starting from today (1 Jan 2021) onward.
The LPG gas rates had increased in August 2020 which were reduced marginally in September 2020 with slight increase in October month. The rates of LPG gas cylinders of 14.2 Kg and 19 Kg had increased in November 2020 and December 2020 which are now once again raised. People can now compare these LPG Gas Cylinder New Prices January 2021 with gas cylinder rates in previous months. People can check both the subsidized and non-subsidized domestic gas cylinder rates to know the total amount which customer will have to pay to buy cylinder in January 2021 month. Moreover, people can also calculate the subsidy amount to be transferred into their bank accounts by the government.
The prices of both the subsidized and non-subsidized LPG gas cylinders are revised by oil marketing companies (OMCs) on 1st date of each month. Central govt. only provides subsidy on the first 12 gas cylinders to every household in 1 year under the direct benefit transfer (DBT) scheme. All the additional purchases for LPG gas cylinders will have to be made at market rates.
