STEP 3: Read the details of the Kamdhenu Gau Vigyan Exam and tick the checkbox at the end. Then click at the “I Agree” button to open the Kamdhenu Gau Vigyan Pariksha online registration form as shown below:-

STEP 4: Here applicants can enter the name, e-mail ID, mobile number, district, city / village, address, school or college, exam coordinator name and then click at the “Register Now” button.

STEP 5: Then the “Username” and “Password” would appear on the screen which you have to note down. Afterwards, applicants can print the filled in Cow Science Exam application form as shown below:-

Important Points for Kamdhenu Gau Vigyan Exam

Here are the important points and salient features for Kamdhenu Gau Vigyan Exam 2020-2021:-

• Kamdhenu Gau Vigyan Exam will be an on-line exam to be conducted throughout the country on the same day. The exam this time is proposed to be conducted on 25 February 2021.
• The exam will be conducted in four categories – for primary level (upto standard 8th), for secondary level (from class 9th to class 12th), for college level (after 12th) and for the general public.
• There is no registration fees for this exam.
• The literature and reference books, uploaded / recommended on the website of the RKA, can help the examinees to prepare for the exam. However, they can use other material also to prepare for the exam.
• The examination will be conducted in a transparent and impartial manner, as it is an on-line exam for which there is a little scope for any manoeuvring or help.
• Names of successful meritorious candidates at the State and National will be announced on 26th february 2021 on the website of the RKA.
• The successful and meritorious will be given cash prize / certificate in a ceremony.
• Type of Examination: Multi Choice Questions (MCQ) based.

Gau Vigyan (Cow Science) Exam Details

Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog has announced its first ever exam of its kind, Gau Vigyan Pariksha. RKA is a govt. body setup for cow welfare which will hold countrywide gau vigyan (cow science) exam on 25 February 2021. RKA comes under the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying. Gau Vigyan examination is free of cost and will be held annually. It will be held in 12 regional languages apart from Hindi and English. There will be 100 multi-choice questions and a duration of one hour will be given to the candidates.

Objectives of Gau Vigyan Examination

The purpose of the Gau Vigyan Examination is to raise mass awareness about the indigenous cows among young students and every other citizen. The exam will be conducted in 4 categories – Primary level up to 8th standard, Secondary level from class 9th to class 12th, College level after 12th+ and fourth category will be for the general public. Cow is full of science that needs to be explored. It plays an important role in 5 trillion economies of the country.

On Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog website, RKA has given the syllabus for the exam and also recommended literature and reference books on cows, which will help the candidates prepare for the exams. Blogs, videos and other selected reading material will be uploaded on official website. Scientists, entrepreneurs, Gau Sevaks, farmers, youth and women as well as senior citizens will actively work to make this mega event a grand success.

Transparent Conduct of Kamdhenu Gau Vigyan Prachar Prasar Examination

Kamdhenu Gau Vigyan Prachar Prasar Examination will be conducted in a transparent and impartial manner. Questions will be set in such a way that during the online exam there will be no scope for any maneuvering. Results will be immediately declared on the website of RKA. Certificates will be given to all. Meritorious candidates will be given prizes and certificates afterwards. The online registration for the examination will be open from January 14 until February 20, and results will be declared on the day of the exam itself.

Meanwhile, the syllabus devised for the ‘Kamdhenu Gau Vigyan Prachar Prasar Examination’ is baffling. Desi cow milk has traces of gold and earthquakes occur due to cow slaughter, as per a report on the exam syllabus read. Native cows are “hardy and clever enough not to sit at dirty places”, while the Jersey cow is “lazy” and “prone to diseases”. “In 1984, more than 20,000 people died due to gas leaks in Bhopal. People living in houses with cow dung coated walls were not affected,” it further said.
